Should I fight the PIP or start looking for a new job?

Can I negotiate severance if I am on a PIP?

Yes, and this is often the best outcome. Companies prefer clean departures over messy terminations. Your mentor will teach you how to initiate the conversation, what to ask for (severance, reference, equity vesting, COBRA), and common negotiation leverage points.

How quickly should I book a session after receiving a PIP?
